Young Impa confirmed for Age of Calamity

She's a ninja with the ability to multiply herself. Rad.

Overnight, fans were treated to their first look at gameplay in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Koei Techmo’s panel at the Tokyo Game Show played through roughly 10 minutes of an early level in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Dynasty Warriors mash-up.

It started with Link, but quickly confirmed a new playable character, Impa.

Impa was an elderly villager in Kakariko village in the original Breath of the Wild.

In Age of Calamity, set 100 years earlier, she’s a ninja with the ability to multiply herself in combat.

Impa is the seventh playable character to be confirmed for Age of Calamity so far, including: Link, Zelda and the four champions, Urbosa, Daruk, Mipha and Revali.

We won’t have to wait long for an eighth either.

Koei Techmo has promised to reveal a new playable character in the next 24 hours at TGS so stay tuned!
