C’mon and SLAM! Rumours are all confirmed. NBA megastar, LeBron James, will star in the untitled sequel to Space Jam.
Black Panther director, Ryan Coogler, will help set the game plan as producer, with Terence Nance in the director’s chair.
‘The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie. It’s so much bigger,’ LeBron told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams”.
For many, the first ‘Space Jam’ film was the face of the nineties. Staring the legendary, Michael Jordan, it was huge. While some movie critics chose to disagree – it was without a doubt a fan favourite, raking in $250m at the box office.
Can we expect a Michael Jordan cameo?
LeBron’s own entertainment company took to Instagram to tease the film.
That’s all we know right now – stay tooned!
